Tech4Impact
Tech4Impact aims to bridge this gap by equipping technology-oriented students in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) and Vocational Education & Training (VET) with the knowledge, skills, and tools needed to become successful Social Entrepreneurs. 2x curricula will be developed, 1x for HEIs focusses on the foundation in Social Entrepreneurship, on the development of Skills for Social Impact and the Integration of Technology in Social Economy, and 1x for VET aimed at directly preparing students for specific roles in Social Enterprises using their technical skills. The 2x curricula will be tested using relevant MOOCs that will be developed during the project.

The expected project outputs are:
- State of the art analysis on Social Entrepreneurship and training offerings and skills needs
- HE and VET curriculum together with learning resources delivered through project’s MOOC. The curriculum will be tested with beneficiaries from Greece, Lithuania, Romania and Bulgaria and the knowledge and skills of learners will be certified using micro-credentials that will be issued upon the successful completion of MOOC courses
- Proximity and Social Economy “Skills Passport”
- Development of the “Design Your Skills Pathway” & AI-Driven Social Economy Sector “Skills Matching Tool” platforms to provide students with personalized learning pathways, guidance and the ability to track their competencies, enabling them to access more tailored educational opportunities and jobs
- Development of mentorship program “How to be Social Entrepreneur”, offering guidance and support from social economy market experts
- Development of a job placements and internships program to connect students with social enterprises and offer opportunities for career development while fostering a strong network of partners
The main target groups of the project are Students at HEIs & VET Providers, Social Entrepreneurs and Social Enterprises, Policymakers, Professional Associations, Jobseekers, Investors.
