Ecological Holidays

ECOHOL was an Erasmus+ project that aimed to enhance the employability and entrepreneurial potential of young professionals in the tourism sector. The project offered comprehensive, practice-based training in key areas such as customer service, hospitality management, sustainable tourism, cultural awareness, and communication skills.

Through a well-structured curriculum, ECOHOL prepared participants for diverse career paths in tourism—including roles as tour guides, hospitality staff, event planners, and ecotourism specialists. Training modules also covered advanced topics such as destination management, sustainable tourism development, digital marketing strategies, and crisis management, with a strong focus on environmental responsibility and minimizing tourism’s ecological impact.

In addition to employment preparation, the project actively promoted social entrepreneurship in tourism. Participants gained insight into innovative business models and have received support for launching sustainable tourism initiatives. The project provided access to funding resources, mentorship from experienced professionals, and networking opportunities with peers and industry stakeholders, fostering a vibrant ecosystem of collaboration and innovation.
