What is the Tech4Impact Project About? – 24/07/26

How can we bridge the gap between technology and social impact? The Tech4Impact project was created to address this challenge by supporting technology-oriented students in developing the skills needed to become Social Entrepreneurs.

The project aims to equip students from Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) and Vocational Education and Training (VET) programmes with the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary to combine technological expertise with social entrepreneurship.

Tech4Impact offers several learning and support opportunities, including tailored curricula and open online courses (MOOCs), certified through micro-credentials and developed across Greece, Lithuania, Romania, and Bulgaria.

The project also includes the development of an AI-driven Skills Matching Tool and a Skills Passport, digital solutions designed to help students track their competences and build personalised learning pathways.

Through the Mentorship Programme, learners receive guidance and support from experienced Social Economy experts. Additionally, Tech4Impact creates opportunities for students to connect with social enterprises through job placements and internship experiences.

By combining technology and social innovation, Tech4Impact works towards supporting the development of skills for social entrepreneurship.
